For many people the Coca-Cola advert signifies the start of the Christmas period. In fact, in our home, my partner usually makes us wait until the advert has been on before we can start putting up our Christmas decorations. Did you know that the advert is 22 years old this year?
For a few years now, the Coca-Cola truck has gone on a Christmas tour around the UK and the decorated truck is on its 2017 nationwide tour right now. This year’s tour started on 11th November and will be ending soon. But first, it is due to make a stop at Ipswich.
Families are expected to be gathering as the truck pulls up into a winter wonderland setting, decorated with 372 bulbs and 8,772 fairy lights. You will have the chance at taking the ultimate festive selfie with the truck itself while they give out cans of Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. I’m not sure how long the free cans will last, so if you want yours then you better get down there early!
Where Can I see It?
The Coca-Cola truck will be stopping at Ipswich’s Asda store which is located on the Whitehouse Industrial Estate. The truck will be there from 11am to 7pm on Friday 1st December.
The Coca-Cola truck is touring to bring everyone some festive cheer, so get into the spirit of Christmas by visiting the truck on its 2017 tour. While there, grab yourself a free can and a selfie!
