Do your little ones enjoy potty humour? Then I have the game for you! Poopyhead is a great family game that is suitable for children aged six and above, and for 2-4 players.
Despite my little one being just 3 years old, he found it hilarious and he was able to play the game well. We just had to play it a bit slower than you usually would! But it was still tons of fun. In fact, Joshua loved the Poopyheads so much that he even used it in a little April Fool’s joke on us. So even if your little ones are slightly younger, it can still be enjoyed!
Within the box you will get:
- Playing Cards
- 5x Poopyheads
- Whoopie Cushion
So what’s the aim of the game? Ultimately, the loser is the player who has the most cards left at the end of the round and needs to wear a Poopyhead.
There are five rounds in total, so five Poopyheads for every time someone loses. At the end of those five rounds, the winner is the player with the least amount of Poop on their head.
To start the game, you deal out all the cards to every player and in this fast-paced game, you all try to get your cards down first. But the cards need to be put down in a certain order and colour.
Each round starts when the first player places down an orange toilet card, the next card should be a poop however it cannot be the same colour as the card before it. The next card to play is toilet paper, then washing hands. You then repeat this sequence until either all the cards have been laid down or you cannot continue.
We played the game by having all our cards laid out in front of us to make it easier for tiny hands, but you can also hold them if it’s easier.
Joshua enjoyed the game so much that we spent an entire afternoon playing it! It can take a little while getting your head around the rules of the game but once you’ve played a game through, it’s incredibly simple.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed playing Poopyhead and I’m sure it will entertain us for many years to come. It’s a great game for the little ones and a perfect game for all the family to enjoy too.
